Reverse cycle air conditioning systems
All of our air conditioning systems installations are covered by our 6 Point Promise
Reverse cycle systems are a great choice for heating and cooling your home, the indoor unit is concealed in your roof space so this is ideal if you don’t want to see the unit on your wall, all air is delivered through ceiling vents making this visually appealing.
The indoor unit is connected to the condenser unit with wiring and pipe work, the unit is placed outside in an area with good air flow and a solid surface to install it on.
How reverse cycle air conditioning works
The system works by passing air through a fan coil and distributing the air through the supply ducts to the various vents, the air is then drawn back to the return air vent to start the process again.
How zones control the airflow
why do you need zones?
Zoning your home gives you choices. If you have a home with young children or someone who works shifts you need the ability to switch on different areas at different times. We design these systems to suit your lifestyle and our experience will help you make the right choice.
A big advantage of zoning, it saves you money, there is no sense in air conditioning rooms you are not using.
There are several zone systems ranging from simple on/off panels to touch screen panels with the ability to reduce air flow to different zones.
Zoning /ducting components
The ducting delivers the conditioned air to your rooms and the ducting we use comes with a 10 year warranty, the zone system controls where the air gets delivered to by opening and shutting dampers, there are many different systems and the systems we use are covered with a 5 year warranty.
You can choose from a simple on/off system to the “ipad sized” system with touchscreen screen and adjustable air flow.
When choosing your air conditioning unit and obtaining a quote we recommend you consider the following-

Life of the unit
There are plenty of units to choose from and AAPL has chosen some of the best to work with for our customers. We use and recommend well-recognised brands like Panasonic, Mitsubishi HI and Fujitsu because these companies spend huge amounts of money on research and development before they allow a product on the market ensuring the customer receives an air conditioner that will perform well and deliver the correct temperature when it is needed.
5 Year Warranty and After Sales Service
The unit will deliver your cooling and heating and all brands we supply such as Panasonic , Mitsubishi HI and Fujitsu come with a 5 year warranty.
We recommend that an air conditioning service be carried out every year to keep the filters clean and check the unit is running correctly. This will keep your air conditioner functioning to its best capacity delivering clean fresh air and will reduce your energy usage.
Choosing an air conditioning company
It is important to do your research and find out how long the company has been around, equally important is the after sales service. If the system has a fault after the warranty period you want a company that will carry the parts and have experienced service technicians to fix the problem.
The installation plays an important part and like any trades people who take pride in their work this should be neat, tidy and functional. All our systems are mounted on drain trays with two drains, one from the tray and one from the unit.
If possible we suspend the unit from the roof and hang the ducting if space allows
At AAPL Air Conditioning we take great pride in our workmanship; your air conditioning will be installed by our professional installers
